The 2011 Black Diamond Big Mountain Competition will once again be held at Temple Basin. It is running for an extra day this year, Sept 2-Sept 4th. Fingers crossed for a blue bird day! Good luck to all entries!

Being held on the 4th of December Starting and finishing at the beautiful Clifton Bay in the Hastings District of Hawke's Bay. 30km Individual or Teams Run/Walk Event
The course is mainly on private land and includes windswept beaches, native forest, waterfalls, river gorges and stunning coastal farmland.

Black Diamond together with Chill proudly presented the Black Diamond Big Mountain Temple Basin Race for the second year running on the 4th and 5th of September.
Black Diamond was represented by two of our sponsored athletes Roy Schott and Tom Southen.
With a perfect blue bird day it was hard to believe christchurch was facing a state of emergency after the earthquake.
The event was initially intended to take place over two days but the grim forecast combined with earth movements saw organisers reformat the event to a one day, two run event.
Roy took out a honourable 4th place.
